These days children are being exploited all across our nation and it is happening here in our own back yard. Child exploitation is a billion dollar industry that needs to be addressed. Communities are misinformed and unaware of the danger children encounter by predators in their communities. This workshop will inform parents, caregivers, teachers and all who attend on the signs to look for when a child is being trafficked, how to protect your child from being exploited and what you can do about domestic human trafficking. The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force (LBHTTF) and C.A.R.E. 18 are both a collaborative, victim-centered approach to convene and focus organizations from multiple sectors—including law enforcement, city and county government, the legal system, nonprofit service providers, businesses and the faith community.—on specific tangible goals.Get Ticket Here
